Extra Virgin Olive Oil as a Family Affair Across Generations
Our Italian partners in craft, Azienda Agricola Coppicelle, are nestled in the heart of Puglia, to be more specific in Corato near Bari—a region where the sun shines over 300 days a year. In recent years, Puglia has become a hotspot for foreign tourists, transforming the region in many ways. Unfortunately, a familiar story unfolds: agricultural heritage often takes a backseat as the focus shifts to tourism.
That’s why producers like Coppicelle are invaluable. For generations, this family has worked tirelessly to care for their land and uphold their legacy of olive oil production.

Levelling up the Family Business with Award-Winning Olive Oils
Nicola and Emanuele, together with Giada (Nicola’s partner) are the youngest generation that is not just taking over but elevating their family legacy. What started with their grandmother Angela in 1933, and was carried forward by her grandson Pasquale, is now being reimagined by his children. One thing, however, remains unchanged: the commitment to bringing exceptional olive oil—and a bit of love—to many tables.
At Coppicelle, two varieties, Coratina and Favolosa, are the stars of the show. Most of the farm's 42 hectares are dedicated to these varieties producing single varietal extra virgin olive oils that truly capture the essence of Puglia. Their dedication to quality has earned them international recognition, including a Gold Award at the Japan Olive Oil Prize and a proud feature in Flos Olei, one of the most prestigious publications in the olive oil industry.
We’re proudly featuring their award-winning high-antioxidant Coratina—a bold variety with unmistakable character. This oil carries the spirit of Coppicelle’s groves and declares, "This is Puglia at its finest!" with its robust, green bitterness and a peppery kick in every sip.

The Future in Mind, Always, and Certified
What makes Coppicelle special isn’t just the olive oil (although, trust us, it’s incredible). It’s the people and the mindset behind it.
Sustainability isn’t just a nice-to-have for them; it’s the backbone of everything they do. The family knows they’re farming not just for today but for tomorrow—for their children and their children’s children. Their efforts are certified by ISCC+, a certification that ensures their practices meet high standards of environmental and social sustainability.
They say, “The final product is the perfect combination of our hard work and nature, a work done in harmony.”
Our Collaboration with Coppicelle
When we first visited Coppicelle, we were greeted like friends. The family welcomed us into their world with warmth and a table full of treasures—everything from their farm. We were there to taste their olive oils, but we were also treated to their homemade creations, too.

Each product was a testament to their hard work, their dedication to natural ingredients, and maybe even a few family recipe secrets they wouldn’t share (we asked!).
Everyone—Pasquale, Nicola, Emanuele, and Giada—brings their own spark to the business, proving that when a family works together, amazing things happen. This is a family that operates together, laughs together (and probably has some bitter moments too, as all families do 😊), and grows together. We adored this harmony!
At Grovehood Collective, we believe great olive oil is about more than just taste—it’s about people, passion, and connecting with something real. Premium quality matters to us, of course, but we also care deeply about the mindset of keeping the future in mind with every action. Coppicelle embodies all of this, and naturally, this planted the seeds of our collaboration. Their respect for the land connected us to their excellent work but the taste made us stay. Partnering with Coppicelle means sharing their spirit and hard work while making their exceptional extra virgin olive oil an inevitable taste of your tables.
